PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable increasing of cold holding time several times by mixing a specified amount each of calcium chloride, sodium benzoate and a specified magic crystal into water to prepare a cold holding medium for filling a hollow wall part of a cooling cup to shorten the time required for freezing. ;SOLUTION: A large cup or the like of beer has a cold holding medium 2 sealed into a hollow chamber 12 sandwiched between an external wall 10 and an internal wall 11 thereof and prior to use, the cold holding medium 2 is frozen in a refrigerator. The cold holding medium 2 is prepared by mixing 0.2g of calcium chloride, 0.2g of sodium benzoate and 3g of a magic crystal into 200cc of water thoroughly. The magic crystal is prepared from 42.5mg/kg of material which contains 5mg/kg of lead, 5mg/kg of antimony, 2.5mg/kg of arsenic, 10mg/kg of barium, 5mg/kg of cadmium, 5mg/kg of chromium, 5mg/kg of mercury and 5mg/kg of selenium.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
