PURPOSE:To prevent the state of a liquid crystal molecule changed due to temperature rise and to improve display definition by preventing contrast lowered by providing a liquid cooling device to cool a liquid crystal display device inside the main body of a device. CONSTITUTION:White light with illuminance of several times that of solar light is emitted from a light source a, and is dissolved to three primary colors, and they are made incident on the liquid crystal display devices 7, 8, and 9, and videos on the liquid crystal display devices 7, 8, and 9 are synthesized to one full color video, and it is magnified and displayed on a screen 11. At this time, emitted light of the light source 1 is absorbed by a liquid crystal panel and a polarizing plate, and is converted to heat, then, the heat is generated. When liquid 23 is cooled by the electronic cooling element 24 of the liquid cooling device 22, and heated liquid 23 is moved on a circulation path 25 upward, cool liquid 23 flows in the heated liquid. The natural circulation of the liquid 23 is generated by temperature difference(density difference) between a heating part 27 and a cooling part 29. Thereby, it is possible to stabilize the change of the pre-tilt angle of the liquid crystal molecule by the temperature rise, and to prevent the contrast lowering.
