PURPOSE: To contrive reduction of noise by improving durability and a wearing life of a belt tooth part in a toothed belt which is meshed with a toothed pulley to constitute a toothed belt transmitting device. ;CONSTITUTION: A pitch error ΔP with a pulley pitch Pp of a toothed belt 1 in a condition meshed with a toothed pulley 3 is placed in a minus side where a belt pitch P is smaller than the pulley pitch Pp, and assuming T₀ for reference tension, T₁ for tight side tension, T₂ for loose side tension and EA for belt tensile rigidity of defining the belt pitch P, the range is set to a range where P.(T₀-T₂)/EA≥ΔP≥P.T₀-T₁)/EA.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
