PURPOSE: To obtain a new differentiation-inducing adjuvant related to a cancer differential therapy and a cancer chemical prophylaxis and especially acting on the abnormal methylation enzyme of cancer cells. ;CONSTITUTION: This new differentiation-inducing adjuvant comprises the pharmaceutical composition of one or more compounds selected from methylphenylacetamide, ethylphenylacetamide, phenylacetic acid ethyl ester, 2,4-dichlorophenylacetic acid and indole acetic acid which are differentiation- inducing adjuvants used for differential therapy and cancer prevention.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
