The improver is applied for reclaiming the fertility of heavymetals polluted soils. It improves the quality of the humussystem, increases the quantity of the firmly bound calcium in thenewly formed organomineral formations and the optimum value of thesoil reaction is stabilized for a longer period. The improver isin the form of a mixture of limy materials reduced in respect toits neutralizing ability to calcium carbonate, additionally alsocontaining coal dust. The mixture is composted in ratio 1:4 and isapplied in the soil in quantities ensuring optimum norm of limingin copper contamination under 250 mq/kg soil and in quantitiescorresponding to overliming when copper contamination exceeds 250mg/kg soil.!
