This chemical heating of steel in the pan by the oxidation of aluminium dissolved in the melt by gaseous oxygen blown on or under the level of steel is performed in a vacuum with the subsequent processing of the melt, also in a vacuum, by clinker created by the originated aluminates and lime added in the stated ratio either all at once or in batches.
