The invention relates to a tri-sequential hormonal estrogen-progestogen combination for correction of estrogen deficiency during natural of artificially induced menopauses for oral administration over the duration of a month, wherein the combination consists of dosage units containing only estrogen for administration thereof within the first 10 consequent days, further dosage units containing a combination of estrogen and progestogen for administration thereof within the following 14 successive days and dosage units containing only an inert excipient for administration thereof within the following 6 successive days.
