The invention belongs to the performance control of machines and apparatus and is based on performance evaluation by means of electric power transformation into different types of energy and using it for control of wind power equipment (WPE) efficiency.The WPE control device 1 (fig.2) consists of control unit 2,microprocessor 3, stabilization unit 4, braking device 5 and controlled parameter converter 6 incorporated in the WPE.During control performance data parameters are used describing random processes, for example, rotation speed, failure to meet Gauss distribution. If the difference between the WPE controlled parameter and absolute mean value is above three standard deviations, the performance is considered inadequate. The suggested method provides reliable data on WPE performance in a simple way.IMAGE
