Invention applies to physical research methods, namely, to determining absorbed doses of ionising radiation in polymer thermo-sediment materials, whose macro molecules undergo crosslinking under the influence of this radiation; the very material is previously oriented. Such materials possess a shape memory, when they are heated up to a definite sediment temperature.Method is characterized with the fact that during isometric heating, the maximum value of thermo-relaxation tension in polymer thermo-sediment materials is determined, by the value of which the absorbed dose can be judged. The offered method simplifies the measuring process, reduces necessary work volume and time consumption, ensures the measuring of compositions containing elastomers.
