The present invention relates to a power unit on an impelling portion, which may include a rotation outlet shaft of an internal combustion machine, said power unit impelling a front section load, and being also coupled with a differential impelling device comprising an electric machine and a rear differential gear case. The electric machine is in a coupling relationship with both a pair of outlet differential shafts and an inlet shaft by means of a transmission gear, while a pair of wheel shafts of the differential gears are respectively coupled with an impeller of a transmission mean shaft by the rotary power unit on the impelling portion and with the inlet shaft of the rear differential gear case via a clutch for impelling a rear section load. Alternatively, the shaft differential gear system having three ends, can be replaced by a planetary gear train while the transmission gear can be replaced by a friction wheel. A brake which is disposed between the electric machine rotor and the stator can be controlled for generating either motor-impelled functions when an inlet current is applied, or variable speed coupling functions through an outlet current when the electric machine is employed with a generator. The machine can be operated at a constant speed or at a partially adjustable speed so as to increase the machine efficiency at a maximum, and to reduce pollution, a portion of the differential speed outlet power being generated through the differential mixing impelling device which is utilized for impelling the load while the remaining power is converted through the electric machine generator function for charging the battery, thereby increasing the power efficiency.
