The invention refers to a hydraulic damper, designed to increase the energy storage capacity of springs in dynamic mode, especially of springs in the dampers of railroad vehicles. According to the invention, the hydraulic damper for railroad vehicles is provided, at the end of tubular piston (1), with frontal apertures (e) that are shut by a shoulder (d) of the piston crown (2) that can glide and works as a one-way valve. Piston crown (2) is also provided inside with radial holes (b), which are connected to its axial nozzle (a), in order to reduce the intensity of the jet upon exiting the piston crown (2), and in the wall of tubular piston (1), between low pressure sealing rings (10) and wear rings (7) an annular collector channel (f) is positioned, makeing the connection with radial holes (g) that allow the recycling of hydraulic agent (11) in pressure chamber (6).
