The presented solution is based on the problem of reliable guiding of the pulling rope (16) with a forestry winch (10) in cases when because of the pulling force it becomes necessary to redirect the steel rope (16) to an additional rope guide (18) located on the winch as close to the surface as possible while even after such a redirection the rope (16) is reliably protected against slipping of the additional rope guide (18) and particularly from the chassis area (17). The given aim is solved by a protector (30) located on the chassis (17) of the additional rope guide (18), provided to protect against accidental slipping of the rope (16) from the chassis (17) area, while the protector (30) is preferably made as a spring protector and located in the area between the additional rope guide (18) and the axis (19) where the additional rope guide (18) chassis (17) is fitted.
