POLYMER EMULSION PREPARED BASED ON WATER-SOLUBLE POLYMER AND METHOD OF PREPARATION THEREOF

A polymer emulsion, which is prepared on the basis of a water-soluble polymer, contains cross-linking functional groups in which the polymer comprises repeated units derived from a monomer selected from the group containing acrylamide, N,N-dialkylacrylamide, quaternary salts of N,N-dialkylaminoalkyl(alk)akrylate, quaternary salts of N,N-dialkylaminoalkylacrylamide, diallyldialkylammoniumhalogenid, N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone, acrylic acid and 2-acrylamido-2- -methylpropanesulphonic acid. The said emulsion is prepared by mixing aqueous solution of the monomer and an oil solution with a sufficient amount of surfactant. It is further subjected to polymerisation and the gained emulsion of the water-soluble polymer has particle diameters of from about 20 to about 400 nm.
