PEMINDAHAN HORISONTAL CAB ANTARA ELEVATOR DAN REL-REL BORDES BOGI

A cab having a wheeled carriage fixed thereto ismoved between rails on an elevator car frame andsimilar rails on a wheeled bogey. The ends of therails are scarfed in a complimentary fashion so as toprovide a temporary half-lap joint between the railsof the bogey and the rails of the car frame. Motionis provided by linear motors having active primariesdisposed on the car frame and the bogey and passivesecondaries disposed on the cab carriage. Motorcontrol is in response to position signals provided bymagnetostrictive linear displacement transducers. Thecab carriage includes rollers on vertical axes whichcontact the insides of the rails for guidance. Thecab carriage wheels and rollers are disposed in pairsseparated sufficiently so that at least one roller andone wheel of each pair is in contact with a full railas the carriage crosses the rail joints between thecar frame and the bogey. Wheels coated with urethanereduce wheel noise and tapers at the ends of the railsprovide smooth rail to rail transitions.(Figure No. 3)
