The present anti-theft device consists of a device which, by means of remote control or control by magnetic contacts, inserts a securely supported steel key, similar to that of the lock, from the interior of the housing into the keyhole, pushing it all the way in and thus preventing the introduction, from the outside, of counterfeit keys or tools intended to force the lock. This anti-theft device can be applied to any lock having a keyhole penetrating through the thickness of the door. If an attempt is made to push the "imitation key" back, an alarm siren is sounded.
