Interdependent wheel suspensions for automobiles, with axial unification of the spring and shock absorber assembly and integrated control system for changes in trim of the body with hydro-pneumatic operation
The invention is applicable as a suspension system for automobiles. The current state of the art in the sector, and also the most widespread, is found in the independent wheel suspensions with utilisation of antiroll bars. The so-called "active" suspensions lie outside the comparison, since they have electronic control elements. The essential features of the invention are: transfer of actions from wheel to wheel, given the interdependency of same; better distribution of weights on the wheels of the same axle; the integrated system for control of roll and pitch, as well as the simplicity of regulation of the static and dynamic trim of the vehicle body.
