This production method for tubes of extruded hardening material, especially refractory clay, is characterised by the shaping and consolidating of the tube in a horizontal arrangement, said method making use of an extrusion with horizontal axis that makes the extruded material flow about a tubular metal core for support and shaping of the inside of the tube, said flow being encouraged by outside lubrication of the aforesaid tubular core and the creation of a gap produced by a pressurised air flow that can travel in the direction of advancement of the extruded product, being distributed by a plurality of small radial holes present in the tubular metal core, said core being then translated transversely together with the extruded tube thus shaped to be positioned laterally to the actuating machine of the method, and removed from it.
