The present invention finds application in the field of the production of models of the type used by dental technicians. In this sector, the present-day technician produces models in plaster hinged to plates of plastic material. The invention, while retaining the principles and technologies currently in use, enables certain problems associated with inaccurate contact between the plaster and the plate to be solved. The improvements consist principally in the introduction of a metal base that provides support for the plate and in the introduction of three small spacer columns in the upper part of the frame. The result of the combination of these new parts is the ability to produce, with plates of various sizes, models of high accuracy, both in relation to the contact between the plaster and its base and to the perfect coincidence between the axes of the holes drilled in the plate and the corresponding holes in the plaster impression.
