The separation system proposed makes use of filtration of the molten material through a cone (coaxial with the extruder) which is drilled with very small holes (but according to the level of cleaning desired) having an axis parallel to the axis of the extruder, while a frustoconical helicoidal screw which is lightly pressed against the inner wall of the filtering cone keeps the holes clean, accumulating dirt towards the axis of the extruder where a pressure system generated by a cup spring only allows it to leave after it has achieved a sufficient level of compaction. The separation system proposed operates independently of the presence of supervising personnel and is intended to be self-cleaning in that it automatically regenerates its filtering capacity, is of the continuous type and operates with a small pressure difference between the two sides of the filtering cone, as a result of which it has very high filtering action efficiency.
