Improvements to patent No. P-9301212/8 for improvements made to therapeutic chairs and beds

One of the improvements consists in supplementing the therapeutic chair or bed with an autonomous transfer device formed by a square-shaped frame 1 on whose vertical branch 2 it is possible to displace a support 3 carrying a series of horizontal elements 4 which, in the manner of a comb, form a bed which allows the transfer of the user or patient from a therapeutic bed onto this bed without the user or patient experiencing dangerous movements. The autonomous transfer device mentioned above has rolling means 7 in order for it to be displaced. Another improvement consists in the lifting and/or lowering of the support elements of the slats which constitute the spring mattress of the bed being actuated by a plurality of cams formed jointly in a horizontal displacement piece, the cams having a ramp by means of which the alternating lifting of this set of elements associated with the slats of the spring mattress is achieved. Actuation of said elements may be pneumatic, in which case the slats are formed by groups of alternately inflatable air cushions.
