The component described falls within a low or medium power electromagnetic guide system at millimetre wave and microwave frequencies, and efficiently converts the monomode circular guide TE11 mode to the corrugated circular guide HE11 mode. This component is characterized by having zero bias (gradient) at input and output, linking two hyperbolic profiles placed with uneven symmetry with respect to the point of union, in addition to having in the initial part a surface impedance adapter. It is a passive, reversible component, which means that it is capable of reconverting the corrugated circular guide HE11 mode into the monomode circular guide TE11 mode.
