The present invention relates a system for verifying the connection of first ends of electrical conductors into the corresponding terminals of a connector having a rear face for introducing the said ends of the conductors and a front face, each of said terminals being constituted by a through bore right through the connector. According to the invention, the sytem comprises first illuminating means (9) for obliquely illuminating the front face (3b) of said connector (3), and electronic means (14) of observation and display of said front face (3b), so that the variations in contrast on said front face (3b) of the connector (3) determine that one end (5) of particular conductor (6) is inserted into the terminal (4) proper of the connector (3) and positioning said end conductor (5) is correct.
