This is a powered apparatus designed for radially turning lumber; but can be adapted to turn, lift or holdother objects on unlugged conveying systems. Because of its location (below conveying system) it isunobstructive; and, in case of malfunction or when not used, allows production to continue uninterrupted.It is powered by either an electronically controlled pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder, transferring powerthrough a radiused arm to a sprocket attached to the turner.The programming of the electronic control, along with the shape, and positioning of the turner allowsfor flexibility in straightening, lifting, holding, turning and repositioning of the piece on the conveyingsystem.
