WINDING DEVICE FOR A PAPER WEB OR EQUIVALENT AND A TWO-DRUM WINDER

The invention relates to a winding device for a paper web or equivalent, whichwinding device comprises at least one drum (10) or equivalent, which ismounted and supported at its ends by means of bearings (23, 24), the paper webbeing arranged to be wound into a paper roll by means of said drum (10) orequivalent. The drum (10) or equivalent is mounted in a longitudinal directionat at least one point in the middle of the drum (10) or equivalent by means ofbearings (25; 26) such that at least two component drums (10a; 10b; 10c) areformed. The invention also relates to a two-drum winder in which a paper webor equivalent is wound on support of two windings drums (10, 11) into a paperroll, in which winder the paper web is wound into a paper roll through a nipbetween a forward winding drum (10) and the paper roll that is being formed,which forward winding drum (10) and rear winding drum (11) are mounted andsupported at their ends by means of bearings (23, 24; 21, 22). The forwardwinding drum (10) and/or the rear winding drum (11) is/are mounted andsupported in a longitudinal direction by means of a bearing (25; 26) at atleast one point in the middle such that at least two component drums (10a;10b; 10c) are formed.
