This invention relates to the field of agricultural machine building, and in particular to equipment for the figured clipping of hedges and lawns. The machine includes a frame, provided with a drive, and a cutting part made in the form of a shaft (3) with guides (4) of different lengths mounted to the shaft (3), perpendicular to its axis. The ends of the guides (4), opposite to the shaft (3), are connected one after another with cutting tools (5) thus forming the figured clipping contour desired. In addition, the said cutting part can be made in the form of a shaft with a cutting tool mounted to the shaft on at least two points. The length of the cutting tool is adjusted taking into consideration requirements in obtaining the necessary figured clipping contour. Or, the said cutting part can be made in the form of a shaft with a cutting tool mounted to the shaft on at least one point, while the opposite end of the cutting tool is mounted to a guide, which is in turn mounted perpendicularly to the shaft, thus forming the necessary figured clipping contour.
