The disclosed portable device for measuring active pressure is set in the path of a liquid flow. The device is comprised of a body (1) through which the flow runs, wherein said body comprises a measuring channel (2) in the form of a diffuser, a converging tube and a diffuser combined together. The cross-sectional areas at the entry (3) and exit points (4) are identical. A large differentil DELTA P is obtained between the pressure values Pmax and Pmin at the points of maximum (5) and minimum (6) sections, thereby ensuring highly accurate measurements.
