The invention concerns a drawing mechanism for spinning frames with a fibre bunching zone which adjoins the output roller pair (14) of the drawing mechanism (1) and is delimited in the direction of the spinning zone by the delivery roller pair (2). Provided in the fibre bunching zone is a pneumatic compression arrangement which, for each spinning point, consists of an endless apron (121) which is perforated along a peripheral line and is guided about the lower delivery roller (21) and about at least one further guide device (62). The apron forms a strand which extends from the clamping line between the delivery roller pair (2) in the direction of the output roller pair (14). Associated with the apron on the inner side of this strand is a suction shoe (6) which comprises the guide device (62) for the perforated apron (4) in the vicinity of the output roller pair (14). The object of the invention is to simplify the operation and servicing of this device and also to design it such that the perforated apron (4) embraces on all sides and at a slight mutual spacing the suction shoe (6) and the lower delivery roller (21) adjacent the latter. To that end, individual drive elements (5) are associated with the lower delivery rollers (21) at least at each pair of spinning points.
