Compounds represented by general formula (1), possible tautomers, stereoisomers and optical isomers thereof, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof which have potent inhibitory effects on nitrogen monoxide synthetases and are useful as remedies for diseases such as cerebrovascular disorders and head injury: wherein R1 represents optionally substituted lower alkyl; R2, R3, R4 and R5 represent each hydrogen or optionally substituted lower alkyl; Y1, Y2, Y3 and Y4 represent each hydrogen, halogeno or optionally substituted lower alkyl; and n and m are each an integer of 0 or 1.
