Apparatus for presenting advertising notices on paper other print carriers

The device has a number of advertising placards positioned along a carrier band which is illuminated from behind and fed between supply and take- up reels via an indexing mechanism driven by an electric motor. This is coupled to a microprocessor control, for regulating the interval for which each placard is displayed in front of a viewing window. The positioning control for presentation of the advertising placards is provided by an electronic circuit which can be programmed, e.g. via a laptop computer, for determining which placards are to be displayed and the presentation duration of each.
