we describe a small caliber bullet to controlled expansion (10) comprising a body (12) of metal per unit cross section with a generally shaped in part shoulder (14), and a cylindrical cap (16) located behind the shoulder (14), and between the two sides of a joint transverse bulkhead (18).the shoulder (14) has a hollow hole (20) formed of a blind hole opened to the first core (22). the cap (16) has a cavity open to the rear (26) filled with a dense material such as lead (28). the cavity (26) is closed the heart lead by a solid disk (30) set with the metal cap (16) of the body (12).
