New compounds have formula (I): ring N represents a nitro-heterocyclic aromatic radical comprising 1 - 4N atoms chosen from pyridinyl, pyrazinyl, pyrimidyl and triazinyl and comprises at least one N in an alpha position to the CH=CH link ; -X1 and X2 , independently, are themselves conjugated aliphatic systems, conjugated with the rest of the molecule, which are cyclic or heterocyclic aromatics(particularly phenyl or thiophenyl) non-substituted or substituted one or more times by the radicals alkyl, halogeno, phenyl, naphthyl, hydroxyl, alkoxy, amino, lower alkyl-amino, lower dialkyl-amino, lower-alkyl lower-alkoxy-amino, (lower alkyl-acyl)-amino, carbonyl, lower alkyl-carbonyl, lower alkoxy-carbonyl, carboxyl, (lower alkyl-amino)-carbonyl, (lower dialkyl-amino)-carbonyl, halogeno-carbonyl, trifluoro-methyl, nitro, nitroso, cyano, 2,2-dicyano-vinyl,3,3-dicyano-prop-2-enyl, tricyano-vinyl, dicyanomethyldienyl, mercapto, alkylthio, sulphino, alkyl-sulphonyl, sulpho, alkyl-sulphonate, alkyl-sulphinyl, pyridinyl and derivatives of conjugated pyridinyl. Also claimed is the preparation and use of these compounds.
