The present invention relates to an endocospic imaging device for the early detection of superficial cancer ou precancer lesions, characterized in that it comprises means (10) for applying by endoscopy, to the tissues (T) to be imaged, an excitation signal having a wavelength between 300 and 320 nm, means (20) for detecting the self-fluorescence signal generated by the tissues (T) in response to the excitation, analysis means (30) for isolating the autofluorescence responses generated on the one hand by the tryptophane at about 370 nm and, on the other hand, by NADH at about 450 nm, both responses being processed in order to define an image of the tissues analyzed.
