The present invention relates to a multi-party communication in the field of data conferencing, and aims at providing a interface between a MCS program and a lower layer transport layer protocol by providing a matching layer between an MCS and a multilayer transport layer protocol. This feature detects whether the destination MCU is capable of multi-party communication, and if the multi-party communication is possible, the matching layer performs multi-party communication, and if the multi-party communication is not possible, the matching layer performs a single communication. The effect is not only to improve the performance of the MCS system itself, but also to make it possible to efficiently use the already commercialized MCS over the multilayer transport layer protocol.
