The cell search in the asynchronous cellular system between DS-CDMA base stations is made faster, and high efficiency and small size are realized.;In the cell search, the matched filter 22 is used to detect the relationship with the short code of the control channel, and the correlation peak position of the maximum power is detected as the long code timing.
