The invention described in this patent is an error amplifier system for use with multiple current or voltage regulators operated in parallel with a conversion conductance type power amplifier. The error amplifier can be used, for example, with a linear voltage regulator or with a dc / dc converter.;The system includes a plurality of error amplifiers. Each of the error amplifiers has an output means, means for electrically connecting each of the output means to all such other output means, and means for setting an asymmetrical current capability for each of the output means.;The asymmetric current capability has a current supply or current generation capability that is greater than the supply current, or the consumption current or sink current capability.;Furthermore, each amplifier has an internal sense circuit to sense when the amplifier operates saturated at the sink side and outside of the linear range to convert a small amount of voltage across the reference input, resulting in a positive feed back. The result of +) produces a small hysteresis to ensure free oscillation transition between the active and inactive states of the amplifier.
