By providing a virtual response generating means and a load simulation means in the current control device, iterative control without influence of control delay is realized for the current response which is repeated periodically. By applying the above current control to a 120-degree energized electric motor using a pulse width modulated inverter, direct current control including a response process to the rise of the current is realized only by the microcomputer.
