FIELD: relay protection equipment. SUBSTANCE: device has serial circuit of standard unit for 6-35 kV, which has automatic breaking unit (after it is switched on) and special measuring unit which has mobile cable and clamps at output. Measuring unit provides possibility to design circuit in which single-phase short-circuit current which is clipped by resistor is passed through two phase lines one of which is short-circuited to ground. Current for each phase is registered in order to calculate distance to short-circuit point. Cable with clamps can be used for connection to arbitrary power supply tap. Other claims of invention describe device design which has by-pass current conductors and by- pass switches. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities. 3 cl, 3 dwg
