FIELD: medicine, oncology. SUBSTANCE: method deals with conducting a thoracic scanning roentgenography in anterior-posterior and two lateral projections with or without contrasting an esophagus by barium suspension and statement of metastases at simultaneous availability of three roentgenosemiotic features; at the absence of at least one of these features one should conduct static thoracic scintigraphy with $$$Ga-gallium citrate and state on mediastinal metastases at the value of relative accumulation being above a threshold; at the value below a threshold - it is necessary to conduct thoracic roentgenocomputer tomography and reveal mediastinal metastases if a picture of one or more lymph nodes at diameter above a threshold is seen. EFFECT: higher accuracy of detection in comparison with a prototype.
