摘要

FIELD: nonlinearly optical crystal of novel type of strontium berillatoborate with chemical formula Sr2Be2B2O7, in abbreviated form SBBO. SUBSTANCE: compound SBBO is synthesized in chemical reaction between substances in solid state at high temperature of synthesis. Single crystal of strontium berillatoborate is grown by flux method in which flux solvents are used in form of SrB2O4, NaF and other fluorides. Measurement results have shown that this compound possesses the following structural and physical characteristics: space group Pb6(C66); point group C6; elementary cell: a = 4.633 (3) , c = 15.311 (7) ; z = Z, V= 283.3.
