FIELD: rocketry; maintenance of target tracking point during entire self-contained flight of missile. SUBSTANCE: in course of self-contained flight, deviation of angles of turn of sight line in planes of control from their average magnitudes at present limited time interval is calculated on board missile in the special device by the present parameters of missile relative motion and point of tracking on target surface; then these deviations are compared with threshold values. In case one of them exceeds preset threshold value, this is indicative of reaming of homing head. In case of reaming, target tracking is discontinued and position of sight line is corrected to restore the initial position of tracking point. Upon completion of correction, target tracing is continued. In the course of correction, control of missile is effected by control signals calculated in device. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of flight control. 5 cl, 3 dwg
