FIELD: machines and mechanisms where control of relative angular position of revolving members is required; batch-operated mills and forging rolls. SUBSTANCE: adjustable clutch includes holder connecting the coaxial shafts by means of splined joint and mechanism for relative control of angular position of shafts. Splined joint has straight teeth for connection with one shaft and skew teeth for connection with other shaft; angle of inclination of splines to longitudinal axis of shafts is lesser than angle of friction in splined joint. Mechanism for relative control of angular position of shafts is made in form of racks fitted on shafts for locking the holder on them. EFFECT: stepless control in wide range and simplified construction. 1 dwg
