FIELD: equipment for coating deposition by electroplating from tin-zinc alloy and methods for production of tin-zinc alloy; may be used in automotive industry and electronics. SUBSTANCE: bath has amphoteric surfactant, water-soluble salt containing bivalent tin, water-soluble zinc salt, water, the balance. When bath is used, deposited film has homogeneous composition of alloy even in cases when current density varies within a wide range. The offered method for formation of tin-zinc alloy includes deposition of coating by electroplating onto base from metal serving as cathode from bath containing water-soluble salts of tin (II) and zinc and addition which is used in the form of amphoteric substance. Anode is used in the form of tin-zinc alloy. EFFECT: higher quality of coaling film from tin-zinc alloy. 16 cl, 3 tbl
