FIELD: testing of construction materials. SUBSTANCE: specimen with limited quantity and dissipation of impurities and defects of structure is stabilized by annealing till increment of controlled parameter - frequency of inherent oscillations of specimen is stopped. Two values of elasticity modulus are measured over section of constancy and over section of fall. For total leveling of temperatures over entire volume of specimen coordinates of crossing point of straight lines obtained by connection of two points of proper sections are determined. Crossing point determines characteristic temperature and serves as start of reading of elasticity modulus. Desired-for elasticity modulus Ec over section of constancy and Ef over section of fall are found from mathematical equations. EFFECT: diminished labor input and increased accuracy of determination of elasticity modulus of metals. 1 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
