STRAIN OF FUNGUS VERTICILLIUM LECANII FOR PRODUCING ACARICIDE AND ENTOMOPATHOGENIC PREPARATION

FIELD: microbiological industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to new strain of fungi. Strain is isolated from sick cobweb mite followed by its passage in host. Selection is carried out by strain activity with respect to cobweb mite. Strain shows acaricide and entomopathogenic effects and activity against cobweb mite and greenhouse whitefly. The obtained strain is deposited in NII collection of microorganism cultures of The State Scientific Center of Virology and biotechnology "Vector" at number F-8. For the preparation producing strain of fungus Verticillium lecanii F-8 is grown on agar medium Saburo at 26 C for 5-10 days. Preparation for plants treatment is used at spore titer 10⁶-10⁷., not less. Biological activity of preparation against cobweb mite is 87-98% at 14-th day and that against greenhouse whitefly is 100% at 6-th day.
