METHOD OF BIOCHEMICALLY TREATING PETROCHEMICAL PRODUCTION WASTE WATERS

FIELD: waste water treatment. SUBSTANCE: invention aims at enhancing efficiency of biochemical treatment by way of improving structural and sedimentation properties of activated sludge under toxic pollution variation conditions. Method consists in holding waste water being treated in air tank with activated sludge comprising flocculating bacterial stain Rhodococcus sp. BKM Ac-1232D in quantity 1-2% based on total weight of sludge. Toxicity of waste water is periodically estimated using Paramecium candatum as test object and, if toxicity of waste water provides at least 40% of bacterial lethality, extra flocculating bacterial stain in the same amount is added. In this case, efficiency of treatment, sludge value, and content of suspended particles in treated water constitute 93%, 120 ml/g, 25 mg/l, respectively. EFFECT: enhanced treatment efficiency. 1 tbl
