Circuit simulation process for the computer-assisted determination of the transient response of a quartz resonator circuit

The evaluation is performed using a processor, with detection of the initial current amplitude for the dynamic arm of the quartz resonator and the operating point of the quartz resonator, before replacement of the latter by a current source with the initial current amplitude and determination of the dynamic balance via transient analysis. The current source is then substituted by a model of the quartz resonator, with determination of the dynamic balance via further transient analysis, to allow the current source amplitude to be adjusted via an iterative process.
