The instrument has a friction section (26) of an abrasion-resistant re-assertive material and especially of plastics, with a friction head (30) and a shaft (32) bonded to the first section of the head. A locking section (34) is at a gap from the friction head (30). The friction component is inserted in a passage drilling (28) in the wall (24) of the secondary section of the dental attachment, and secured against inadvertent axial movement.
