The horizontal diecasting machine incorporates a horizontal plunger (2) which delivers the melt (4) from a filler chamber (1) into a casting die via a feeder channel (5). Close to the feeder channel, a vertical side chamber (7) with an additional plunger (8) branches off the filler chamber (1).
