The propeller is supported in the circumferential direction through elastic members (6) in relation to the base of the propeller. The elastic members consist of a number of rubber blocks located between at least one support plate on the side of the propeller base and a protrusion (45,46) in the propeller housing. The rubber blocks are located in several rows parallel one above the other or next to each other. The rubber blocks are essentially rectangular in plan and cross-section and deviate relatively little from the square form.
