The magnet consists of a field coil partly surrounded by a magnet body, consisting of a disc-shaped yoke, a cylindrical envelope surrounding the field coil, and a cylindrical core moving into the field coil. The field coil is surrounded, fully or partly, at its envelope and front faces, not covered by the yoke, by a conductive cylindrical body. The body consists of two coaxial cylinders and a disc-shaped bottom plate. The cylindrical and bottom plate are radially and axially slit at the same point of the periphery of each. The slot contains an electric insulation.
